Ionly we could look closer at what “Social Media” has done to our society over the very short life span, of what we know as the internet. Interesting, also very disturbing! we should open up and talk with each other before this pandemic gets out of the reach of our control.

After WWII we witnessed a sharp spike in wealth, many households across our nation prospered. Freedom so many had not seen, only the dream was attainable, before the liberation of Europe. Many of the households had struggled with the ending of the great depression going straight into war.

Newfound wealth ushered in so many unexperienced events along with new struggles. Witnessing a rise in families breaking apart largely due to problems arising because of the war. Almost overnight our nation changed.

Rise of wealth brings new and exciting things for a long-awaited liberation. Inventive minds took control and built our nation into what we find today. Space age technology and at a speed hard to keep up with.

If only we could look closer, Social Media Harming The Social Fabric, Dead AmericaAlong comes Social Media! Media giants find big wealth in Social Media and push the throttle to the floor for profit. Profit drives the social atmosphere of today, With little or no recognition of how or why we got to this point. The 1980s were like this mad dash to get to the top with no regard of how. Money driving everything and on top was this new found release called MTV and it was big.

With the advent of the music video war’s, to make the best entertainment video, we witnessed the rise of the superstar and material girl Madonna. This is what I recall to be one of the turning points in our modern world. Wealth, Beauty and fame the race was on.

The frenzy was on, if you were not part of it you were square or not cool, nobody wanted to feel left out. So most of the time everyone was on board or all in.

Along came the internet, this just feeds the ego of the new generation. Sparkles from the screen as you developed your very own “MySpace,” with the new I generation on full glory. The rate at which these new found social platforms increase are on the rise.

Stated earlier the speed is just at full throttle, with little heed to warnings from industry leaders. Now more than ever we need to slow the roll and get control of the social realm known as the internet. For sure we need studies done in so many areas on the subjects surrounding the newfound technologies.

Just my little thought today, Are we going so fast no one cares?
