Well, today we are going to talk about Trust. With myself, I have a system I use to determine if I will trust someone or not. I give people all the space in the world to let me know who they are. You must always give people a chance to make it right. I usually give them three chances to make things right, then it is time to see how that person is going to be.
I have recently decided that I have to give up something that I really don’t want to live without, however, the person responsible for making sure that I receive this item doesn’t understand how important the truth is to me. The benefits I receive from the product is spectacular but now the trust has been broken beyond the point of me being able to overlook anymore.
If you tell me something and it does not happen, and I receive no communication telling me otherwise, it is a lie! I’m not one to let people treat me as I do not matter. When and if someone is telling you a lie, the person does not respect you. This is when you must use the muddy shoe theory.
If you want to change things, and you care about anything, you will stand up for the truth. Do not allow others to lie to you, when you allow this in your life you become a liar, and believe me you do not need that in your life. Be a truthful person, don’t tell little white lies, it does matter.
No matter how educated or popular you are, if you are a liar you will never change the fact that people will not be able to trust you. Most people tell lies because they want to avoid confrontation when they are actually doing more harm than good.
The world is full of people that will say anything to make a buck, I am not one of them and no matter how well the product or service is if I don’t trust I don’t buy. If you want people to do the right thing let your actions speak volumes. I am only a drop in the bucket to the company however my drop counts, I want my drop to land in the right bucket.
Without Truth, You Have No Trust!
You are only as good as your word!
